The Alcázar Cooperative is located in Baeza (World Heritage Site) in the centre of the province of Jaén. It was founded in 1951 for the purpose of grinding and selling its members’ olive oil, an objective still upheld today, providing its customers with the best quality extra virgin olive oil.

Expansion and growth

Over time, the cooperative has continued to grow to become one of the most important in the province. It currently has 1,263 members who, year after year, care for and harvest more than 554,000 olive trees, which produce 10,500,000 kilos of olive oil.

Due to this exponential growth, the Alcázar (initially located in the outskirts of the city) moved to its new premises in 2008, which are equipped with the latest control and automation technology in order to produce the finest quality olive oil.
